Mushrooms

Hello Jini,

In Listen to Your Gut in your diets you recommend to eat different types of mushrooms.

In Candida treatment paragraph you say that mushrooms should be avoided.

I am likely to suffer from Candida, but also like mushrooms, so what is best for me ?
Thank you.

Regards

Mushrooms

Well, a naturopathic doctor would probably tell you to avoid mushrooms altogether until your Candida is under control.

I guess my opinion is that it depends on how severe your Candida is. If you have a mild case, then perhaps the occasional few mushrooms - as long as you're simultaneously on Jini's Wild Oregano Oil Protocol - would be okay.

The bottom line is: follow your gut. See how your gut and Candida respond after eating mushrooms. And definitely make sure they're shiitake or reishi or some other nutritious mushroom. Button mushrooms are not even worth it!
