I'm wondering if anyone has thought of this: I suspect mold on corn and wheat flour products of increasing my sensitivity to them, and I avoid them. But all the while I've been watching the foods I eat carefully, I have been consuming green tea and herbal teas in leaves, plus using all the old spices out of my rack as I have always done. Is it possible that these items have mold or fungus on them?????? Any thoughts on this would be welcome, especially Jini's. Thanks.
I checked with my brother on this - Millan Patel, MSc, MD (he's a medical geneticist and was diagnosed with Crohn's in 1980) and here's what he said:
"Nothing, not even bleach or boiling, can kill mold spores. Anyway, even if dead, all the proteins are still there to be allergenic. Mold is ubiquitous - I prefer to garden to get exposure to more molds as I think this makes me healthier."
The only way to test for mold is through a certified lab - which would no doubt be costly.
But I think the best solution is to follow the LTYG program to balance and restore your immune system so it stops overreacting to common substances. And do EFT on your mold fears/problems as well.
