A woman on my Ulcerative Colitis Forum stopped breast-feeding her son and went into a flare so bad that she ended up choosing surgery. I want to wean my son and am now very fearful. Does anyone have any advice or encouragement????? I currently breast and bottle feed my baby now but still don't have a cycle so I am also scared that once that comes back my hormones will just go hay wire and send me into a horrible flare. I have already had one after his birth (I was placed on Augmentin antibiotics). I was very close to hospitalization and don't want to deal with this again.
