Getting worse on ELEMENTAL DIET!

Postby rogerwilco on Mon Jan 22, 2007 1:29 am

I have only been on the diet for 7 day now, but it seems like all of my symptoms except cramping are getting worse. I am drinking 5-6 Absorb Plus shakes a day. I have reduced my flax oil to 1/2 teaspoon per shake. I am taking Natrern Bifido at night, Gearge's, Mucosheal, etc.. I just started Oregano Oil today. My frequency and urgency increased(no surprise). But more importantly my bleeding seems to be increasing pretty steadily. I also have a lot of gas(pain) and bloating. I cannot figure out what is causing this. I know it has only been one week...but I did not think thing would be getting worse! Anyone who can help?

Thanks,

Hi Roger,

It is normal to experience a lot of gas and/or bloating whilst on an elemental diet - this is just caused by the nature of the predigested ingredients.

This can often be reduced by using the Natren probiotics and the Wild Oregano Oil. If your symptoms are in large part due to Candida overgrowth, then you will find the greatest relief from Jini's Wild Oregano Oil Protocol (in conjunction with the Diet).

However, if your symptoms are largely caused by a damaged mucosal wall / intestinal lining, then you will see the most relief from high dose probiotic supplementation ( 1 tsp of each, 3x/day).

So start with the one you think will benefit you the most and then experiment from there to see what works best.

If your bowel movements are explosive, this could be exacerbating your bleeding. Using the above protocols to address your root issue will automatically calm this down over time.

However, in the meantime to get the bleeding to stop quickly, you'll probably have best results if you can do Jini's Healing Implant Enema - once or twice per day (you can order it ready to go at www.HolisticHealthShoppe.com).

Also, don't forget that the Herxheimer Reaction (pathogen die-off) can also produce a lot of gas and bloating, so that could be factoring in too.

Basically, you need to go with your intuition, step by step, until you figure out the best treatments for your body, and in what order.

take care,
Jini

Jini,
I wanted to thank you for your reply. I am not sure that the dairy based probiotics are agreeing with me. I am going to switch to the non-dairy A.S.A.P.. Once again thank you for the response.

Roger,
Did you have any luck on this diet...i have had a very bad reaction on the shakes....including blood clots and extreme pain which is unbearable. Since your experience is similar to mine......I was wondering if you experienced any improvement
