My daughter has had Crohn's for 5 years. Her stools over the last year or two have becoming narrower. Recently, after a colonoscopy, we found out she has a stricture in the rectal canal. Her stools were as thin as a flattened pencil. She is presently on a stool softener. In Jini's book, she writes of a similar experience and found positive results with craniosacral therapy. My question is, how did the therapist manipulate the scar tissue in this area? Was the scar tissue softened externally, or internally or a combination of both? We visited a therapist about a year ago and I don't think she knew how to manipulate the rectal canal area. I'd like to know how Jini got results so I can question a few craniosacral therapists in our area where we live.I am hoping we can find a good therapist so my daughter can avoid having surgery.
Thanks, aholmes.
