bavolex

i found a product called bavolex on the internet. It's natural, not a drug. it says it's supposed to balance out the digestive system, and stop stomach cramps, gas, spasms, etc. has anyone tried this? it sounds to good to be true. would it be bad for my system to try it, just in case it works? i would also continue to heal myself naturally. some of the ingrediants that i read were ginger and peppermint, and i've already tried stuff like that, and they don't work for me.

i actually don't think this would be good for me because it says it gives you enzymes. the enzymes are found in foods, like pineapple, though. please tell me what you think or if you have tried it.

Thanks,
Lindsay

Hi, Lindsay.

I don't see anything harmful in the list of ingredients, but that has a caveat. The supplements Jini recommends are ones she's extensively trial-tested herself and about which she has received feedback from many people. I can't give you that kind of recommendation for Bavolex because I've never used it and don't know anyone who has. If you decide to give it a try, it would be great if you would post your feedback here as it may be helpful to others down the road.

The second thing to keep in mind is that to my knowledge, these ingredients are all ones that will treat the symptom more so than the underlying cause. That's not necessarily a bad thing; Jini recommends certain supplements that are more symptom-relievers, as well. But it's important to work on the underlying cause so that you can get permanent relief, even while you are taking something for short-term relief. So for long-term relief, you want to look at taking probiotics (as instructed in LTYG). You may also want to follow the guidelines in the Minimize Gas & Bloating Diet (also in LTYG) to reduce/eliminate trigger foods.

Hope that helps!
