oregano oil, craniosacral and castor oil packs

Postby FNG on Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:08 pm

Hi Nicole,
First I wanted to thank you for your previous answer. It was very helpful. I'm learning how to work with symptoms and use them for taking my process further.

Now I had a few days in which I had low fever, I didn't have any other inflammation signs but decided for a few days to do the elemental diet. I'm not sure what the fever was caused by but it seems like its getting back to normal.

I started craniosacral therapy a few weeks ago, generally I felt much better but the wounded place in my stomach got stiffer. I'm not sure why. It is not painful at all but I can feel it more then before. I though it might be a reaction to the treatment. I can't explain it but although it feels stiffer, I feel that craniosacral is really good for me. I would love to hear your opinion about that.

I started the Oregano oil protocol two days ago. I started with 1 drop 3 times a day and I'm increasing the dose gradually. I was worried as my stomach is very sensitive to herbs but it seems like its going well.
I'm taking aloe vera juice twice a day, morning and evening and I am not sure how long after the oregano oil I can take the aloe vera in the morning.

I'm doing castor oil packs and I think it makes my elimination softer and sometimes floating. I wanted to know if you know anything about it.

Is there anything else you could recommend me to do at this point?

Thanks again for all your help and support.

Hi, FNG.

Sorry I've been awhile responding to you!

I want to make sure that you are taking probiotics in addition to the oil of oregano.

I'd mention that you're feeling stiffer in that spot to the craniosacral therapist. He/she may be able to release that specific area.

In all honesty, I've never used castor oil packs personally; so I can't really comment on it. Taken internally, it certainly could cause loose or soft stools, so given that the skin can absorb nutrients, chemicals, etc., it does make some intuitive sense that it could loosen your stools. Castor oil packs have a good record for softening scar tissue, however.

It sounds like you're handling things really well.

Take care,
Nicole
