Hi, I'm new to this forum so not sure where this topic fits. I have had UC for 11 years with many flare ups along the way and many courses of the dreaded prednisone. I have had some success with homeopathy in the past where I managed a 2.5 year remission. I'm working with a homeopath now but am currently experiencing a bad flare up and started a course of steroids. My last colonoscopy was about 18 months ago and my GI strongly recommended surgery due to me having many polyps. All this scared me and still does. I bought Jini's book back then and started the supplements, this really helped. I see my GI again on Wednesday and I guess I'll need to go in for another colonoscopy. I'm beginning to doubt my decision about surgery (not having it). I can cope with ulcerative colitis it's just the threat of the 'C' word terrifies me. Wondered if anyone else was in a similar position?

Read my comments under the 'colonoscopy' topic. I highly suggest that you avoid surgery. There are many people who were in your position who avoided surgery and the so called 'dis-ease' all together by using natural hygienic means. Jini's methods are good for controlling a mild to moderate attack but to get rid of the problem for good I highly recommend David Klein's methods. Nothing knows better how to heal our tissue than our body itself.
