Hi, there.

Here's a link. Someone else found the product online and shared the URL.

Hi everyone,

I was just going over my supplements, and I began having second thoughts on my whey protein supplement. What do you guys think of this product?? Any advice would be great.

I just wanted to be sure its completely beneficial. I also favor this product because its fairly inexpensive.

Biochem Sports Ultimate Lo Carb Whey Protein Powder -- 25 oz

All Natural
Natural Flavor Lo Carb Whey: Contains 100% pure Ultra-Filtered/Micro-Filtered (UF/MF) Whey Protein Isolate, the finest quality and most easily assimilated whey protein isolate on the market. The Micro-Filtration method isolates the natural whey proteins in a highly concentrated form without fat or lactose. This process leaves 99% of the peptides undamaged and undenatured.

Ultimate Lo Carb Whey has the lowest molecular weight of any protein. This allows your body to absorb it quickly and easily without bloating, gas or stomach upset.

Ultimate Lo Carb Whey is rich in the highly bioactive fractions glycomacropeptide and beta-lactoglobulin, immunoglobulin, glycopeptides and lactoferrin. These components fee muscle tissue.

Provides high levels of branched-chain amino and glutamic acids, plus a perfect ratio of other amino acids.

These low molecular weight whey peptides aid in the delivery of nitrogen into the muscle cells which leads to a desirable anabolic response.

The ultra low glycemic response to Ultimate Lo Carb Whey is beneficial for those concerned about sugar intake. Ultimate Lo Carb Whey is for anyone who desires additional protein in the daily diet.

Hi, Anthony.

I've asked Jini to take a look at your question.

Take care,
Nicole

I've gone to several web listings for the product, but nowhere can I find what the 300 g of carbohydrate is??

Can you look on the label - is it maltodextrin or other?

My second question is, it doesn't say that the whey is cold-extracted. If it's not, then the protein has been denatured. Maybe you could contact the manufacturer and ask them....

let me know,
Jini

Ok I think I figured part of this out. I copied and pasted the recommended daily allowances. That's why we get the 300g of carbohydrates. The product itself is only 1g.

I emailed Country Life (the parent company) and am waiting for a response if the whey is cold extracted. :)

Looks okay then Anthony.

The other thing that's reassuring is that Country Life is a good company (unless it's been sold in the last five years - then I wouldn't know)

take care,
Jini
