Healthy Trinity question and main symptom is "burning&q

Postby Nicole on Wed Aug 22, 2007 8:06 pm

A reader recently asked me a couple of questions and I wanted to post the answers here for everyone's benefit.

She mentioned that the label on her Healthy Trinity gave instructions to take with meals, as opposed to on an empty stomach.

I asked Jini about this and here was her reply:

I actually discussed this with Natasha Trenev (founder/owner of Natren) and she said that either way is fine. Different people respond differently, so best is to try it both ways and see which gives you the most benefit. I myself have found the other time that works well for my body is in the morning - anywhere from 1/2 hour to one hour before breakfast.

The powdered probiotics, on the other hand, should be taken on an empty stomach.

Also, the same reader, who has Crohn's mentioned that her principle symptom is a burning sensation in the abdomen. She wondered what might be causing this. I said it could be a lot of things - response to an infection, response to a food she's intolerant to, emotional reasons/stress, etc. - and that she was going to need to get a feel for what she herself thinks the cause is (or causes, as the case may be), do some trial-and-error testing and go forward from there.

Jini added that in addition to the above:

.....it might be some kind of restriction or adhesion (sometimes parts of the intestine can get stuck to the abdominal wall) and the way to release this is via craniosacral.

I just wanted to share this for any others who may suffer from the same symptom.

All the best,
Nicole
