subacute spongiosis with eosinophils

Postby dlh2 on Wed Dec 06, 2006 10:52 pm

Dear Jini,

This could be a real long shot but with your vast knowledge, expertise and resources I have to ask. I mentioned the problems that ensued following the bout of Bacterial Vaginosis (I suspect traveled down from the gut). I was left with what looks like a skid mark on the vulva with little blisters, even subjected myself to a biopsy which concluded what I already knew (allergic contact component). Technical diagnosis is "subacute spongiosis with eosinophils". I have run into a brick wall with everyone I have consulted. Gynos just throw cortisone and/or steroid creams at me which do nothing except irritate the condition. Alternative people have not helped either. Because you mentioned Cocoa Butter P.132 in your Fissure Heal product I started using that as opposed to Crisco to get some relief by melting it. So far that is the ONLY thing that has helped even a little. I have also made the fresh aloe vera suppositories that has proven a great idea for hemorrhoids. Do you have any suggestions or resources for the above named condition ? Thanks again,

Diane[/b]

subacute spongiosis with eosinophils

Hi Diane,

Yes, I do have some ideas, so good thing you asked!

If cocoa butter's giving some relief, then first I would try comfrey salve. See the ones I recommend at:

http://www.HolisticHealthShoppe.com

Especially massage it in at night (directly on the irritation and surrounding area) and sleep bare bum on 100% cotton sheets. If you wear a nightgown, make sure it's 100% cotton or silk. Make sure all underwear is 100% cotton.

If that doesn't help, then next I would try diluted Wild Oregano Oil. Dilute it 15:1 with olive oil (ie. 15 drops of olive oil per 1 drop of Wild Oregano). Apply 3 times per day. It will not "burn" when diluted like this, so don't be afraid. You can also swab it round your vaginal canal in this dilution if you have a recurrence of previous symptoms. I use it at this dilution with my daughter (just turned 4) who will try to wipe her own bum and sometimes forgets, wiping back to front - then of course gets an 'itchy vulva'. So if it's fine for her, you know it's going to be fine for you at this dilution.

Let us know how it goes.....
