Shakes from the shakes

Postby barb tocci on Fri Jan 05, 2007 2:12 am

I am curious if the buzz I get from the shakes will subside, I usually get kind of shakey a half an hour after I have one.
I am slowly working my way onto the elemental diet.
thanks,

Barb,

It's difficult to know what you are reacting to. The first thing I would try is drinking the shake more slowly. How much time are you taking to drink it now?

The second thing I would try is adding more water to the shake, or drinking more water or broth directly afterward.

A third possibility is having a smaller serving of AbsorbPlus at each sitting, but more servings throughout the day.

The "high" could be from the boost the vitamins and whey is giving to your system very quickly. Or it could be from the simple sugars affecting your blood glucose.

Let me know what happens after you try the suggestions above.

Best,
Chris
