Clean slate in gut; then repopulate

Postby RB123 on Fri Oct 14, 2011 4:04 pm

I'd like to hear what others think of this. I'm concerned about the Remission Diet protocol where the idea is to clean out ALL bacteria from the gut, good and bad, and then repopulate with Natren probiotics.

We do not, and I believe cannot ever, fully know the bodies wisdom. We cannot duplicate what the body does EXACTLY.

There are countless strains of good bacteria in the gut. So how can we know that it is safe, proper, and healthy to wipe all of them out and then repopulate with THREE strains?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
