Can you break open the NAG, COQ10, and Grapeseed Extract, since those are to heal the mucosa lining, or will it not be as effective as taking in capsule form?

Yes, you can break open the capsules. Thats what it recommends that you do in the IDB Remission Diet book. I am doing the elemental diet now (my 2nd time) and I empty the CoQ10, Grapeseed, and Bioflavinoids into the shakes. Alternate the CoQ10 and Grapeseend between each shake or I would think if you are only drinking 1 protien shake per day, that you just add all 3 of the capsules contents to 1 shake.
