Aloe vera juice in healing enema?

Postby getinthere on Thu Oct 15, 2009 6:10 pm

my inflamation is in my lower colon and is pretty bad right now. I'm having bad spasming with any bowel movements or even gas. I've been doing the oral mucosaheal and aloe vera juice. I'm going to do some healing enemas and am wondering if there is any faster benefit to using the aloe vera juice instead of water in the healing enema? Anybody tried this before?

Hi

I don't think you would need any Aloe Vera Juice as the ingredients in the healing enema will do the job for you. Mind you I haven't tried it with Aloe Vera Juice as I take the juice with the opened 3 mucosaheal capsules of a night time after my last dose of probiotics.

I have had ulcerative colitis in the lower part too and I have used this enema quite a few times in the past and I found it really worked for me. Are you bleeding as well or have alot of mucous in your bowel movements ???

Maybe you could try the probiotic enema instead as I found that really helped me too ???

Just my thoughts,
Debbie

Hi Debbie, thanks for your thoughts!
I should have clarified a few things in my first post. Yes, I'm bleeding right now. I've been doing the Absorb Plus shakes on and off for about a month and otherwise mostly following the stop bleeding diet, with a few bad exceptions, but decided to start the remission diet and only do the shakes for at least a month. I also just started the WOO even though I'm bleeding because I know candidae is a huge culprit for me.

the reason I"m wondering about the aloe vera juice is because I have a lot of gas coming out (probably due to die off) as well as small amounts of tiny stool and lots of liquid with every run to the toilet. the other times that i have done the healing enemas, and I know they work, but they also came out very quickly if I had gas or stool in my colon. So I'm wondering if there is any benefit to putting aloe vera juice directly on the extremely inflammed tissues since the enemas don't stay in long in my condition?

Hi Christy

Sorry I have had the internet off for quite some time which is a pain but anyhow, all you can do is try the aloe vera juice and see what happens - just a question do you flush out with warm water before doing the enemas ??? as that makes a huge difference, well to me anyhow.

Cheers

hi Debbie,

yes, I do usually flush out with warm water first...learned that the hard way the first couple of times. Since posting I've been doing daily and then every other day healing enema flushes with just water, due to bleeding. yes, I should try it, but since I'm doing so many I don't really have the resources to do it. I did realize a couple of things in the meantime. 1. my colon would spasm really bad on the days when I has stool stopped up in my colon...only way I knew this was by doing the colonic massage and my colon would be full, but not moving (no stool coming out but lots of liquid and spasming). 2. I think I even had material backed up in my small colon, because on a day like today I had some emotional release last night and I have had stool coming out all day and it keeps surprising me. Im still on the elemental diet, so my body must just really tend towards constipation. I did take some extra magnesium and that seemed to speed things along when my colon was slow and full. who knows.

Hi Christy

Well it sounds like your doing everything right, it is a very very slow process, as I have been off all drugs from last year in March and I still have huge ups and downs and I get depressed sometimes, but I have become a Platinum Member on JPT Wellness and they are always encouraging and give great advice.

I am currently back on Phase 1 of Wild Oregano Oil protocol now and tend to stay on this for quite some weeks and see how I go.

If you ever need to just chat don't hesitate to chat on here.

Cheers
Debbie
