Adding sweetener?

This forum was for people who undertook the IBD Remission Diet. Adding sweetener?

My 11 year old son is going to try the IBD diet. We brought the sampler pack for him to try the different flavors. He would like them to be a slight bit sweeter. Can I add a pinch of stevia and still maintain elemental status?
