Probiotic and WOO

Postby Napoleon on Thu Apr 23, 2009 12:12 pm

Hi-

Here's an update since the probiotic retention enema:

I have been going every day! I have added a lot of Healthy Trinity to my diet; 3 per day since the enema and I have been eating 5 or 6 stewed prunes every morning for breakfast, which I think helps as well.

Also just finishing up with a few days of Pulsatilla 200c from my naturopath.

**** ALSO I just finished 3 days of antibiotic for a UTI. I had to start the antibiotics right after I did the enema. I was on heavy Healthy Trinity all three days. *****

My question today is this:
I have been syringing WOO to my rectum before bed to help with the proctitis - I do think that is working as well. Will the WOO destroy the results of the probiotic enema? When should I repeat the probiotic enema?

Thanks-
Napoleon

Hi, Leon.

Well, Jini generally suggests doing a probiotic retention enema once per month while you're building up the levels of probiotics in your gut. All the same, if you wish to do one sooner than that, it certainly won't hurt and is likely to help.

However many probiotic retention enemas you do and at whatever frequency, I would definitely do at least one upon ceasing to syringe the wild oregano oil into the rectal canal.

All the best,
Nicole
