Probiotic Retention Enema

Postby Napoleon on Tue Apr 14, 2009 7:11 pm

I just finished the book and I am going to do the probiotic retention enema within the next few days.

I am going to try the colonic massage this afternoon and begin practicing it whenever I have a chance to lie down.

I still have the bleeding and mucus from the proctitis which I cannot seem to get to stop despite diet, WOO, MucosaHeal, FissureHeal, fish oil and probiotics. It is so frustrating!! I have no other symptoms of proctitis -- diarrhea, fever, fatigue, signs of infection, etc and I am just so confounded. -- just venting here.

The bleeding and mucus just get worse with constipation, which I have all of the time. From the book I am adjusting my diet to include more good greens and cutting way down starchy vegetables.

My question is this:
If I still am really struggling with the bleeding (this is not gushing blood or any large amount at all --blood on stool, toilet paper and drips into the toilet -- all of which are worse with constipation) -- should I stick with trying the probiotic retention enema, or should I start off with the healing enema and give that a few days?

Perhaps the healing enema would be of no really benefit if I am damaging tissue repeatedly with the constipation.

Next question--
Perhaps DMSO is the product for me. I need to heal my low rectum. For some reason I can't seem to find it in the Holistic Health Shoppe.

*** Just as an aside, I notice that there are many people on the forum that are struggling to heal with the same nagging symptoms of proctitis, blood, mucus, constipation, with no other symptoms or systemic complaints.
I wonder what that is all about?

Thanks so much - the book is great, when I get back to dairy I want to try the shake as well.

Probiotic Retention Enema UPDATE

Postby Napoleon on Fri Apr 17, 2009 11:44 am

I did the probiotic retention enema last night before bed and held it all night.

Liquid D (term borrowed from Chron'sBoy - he's awesome!) this morning, but it could have been water left over from last night. I took many many filtered water enemas (about 5) before I did the PBE and they still weren't fully clear (!!!!), but I had to finally just get on with the PBE because it was getting to be after midnight and I had started at 10pm.

Either way, it just felt great to get up this morning and go.

I am on the probiotic powder this morning and I found another post that said you could take the powder/Healthy Trinity and wait 20 minutes or so and take the MucosaHeal, so I am going to give that a go.

I loved the constipation book and I am on my way to give the suggested methods a test. If you see any place I could tweak what I am doing, or if I am going wrong somewhere, please give me a shout. Thanks!

I'll mark this as day one and keep updating as I go along.

Hi, Leon.

The DMSO-based "HemorrHeal" product that Jini mentions in the book is one that's still in the planning phase. In other words, Jini's going to have to available, but there's time in between while she needs to line up a supplier, build up some stock, etc.

In the meantime, you can find DMSO at www.tahomaclinic.com.

Look for more about DMSO in suppository form in the latest issue of Good Health is Real Wealth, which is due to be released early this week.

All the best,
Nicole
