Udo's Oil: GLA bad for hemoglobin?

Postby echernosky on Mon Dec 08, 2008 10:40 pm

I really like Udo's Choice Oil blend and have been taking it on and off for about a year.

In reading about GLA (gamma linolenic acid), I have come across some sources that indicate that GLA can lower hemoglobin.

Is this to say that someone who is anemic should not take Udo's?

Thanks,
Ed

Hi, Ed.

I've never come across any information suggesting that GLA would lower hemoglobin. Would you post your source and I'll ask Jini to look at it and respond?

Take care,
Nicole
