Natural antibiotics

Jni,
I was just wondering, i was on 6MP, which is an immune system supressant, for at least six months and after my second surgery my doctor kept me n it to try to prevent the crohn's from growing back. After about two months i got an urinary tract infection, and they put me on antibiotics, levaquin, cipro, about a week later they were not working and i had a absess forming that was as big as a tennis ball, no lie. I went to the doctor who sent me to the hospital and the next day i had surgery. My body went from normal feeling to all messed up sweating but being cold and weak and just horrible feeling, i hate the hospital all they do is give you meds that just hurt your body. So for next time i was wondering if i get an infection how can i fight it naturally, natural antibiotics and such? Also i was wondering if i could possibly email you an idea and my story, it would mean a great deal to me if you could read it because since i got your book i dont i try to follow it the best way for me but i also am not sure. I mean i take natren probiotics, Udo's oil blend, Absorb Plus shakes, L-Glutamine, should i be on anything else? Well i know you have a lot going on now but thank you for everything.
I want everyone to know this is just the beginning. Mike,

Wild oregano oil and olive leaf extract are both natural substances that have been shown in clinical studies to exhibit powerful antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal effects. There is one study in particular that suggests wild oregano oil is actually more effective than nyastatin in killing candida albicans. Oregano oil is also widely used in the food industry to kill pathogens without contaminating the food. Olive leaf extract does not yet have quite as much research behind it (hasn't been on the market as long as oregano oil), but it has a strong following among naturopaths and other alternatively minded health care practitioners and is easier to tolerate than oregano oil for some.

For urinary tract infections, many recommend cranberry extract (which makes it difficult for the bacteria to adhere to the lining of the urinary tract, thus eliminating the infection). One product I've used in the past is called Cranactin.
