Can someone please tell me why is MSM bad for Crohn's ?????

Can someone please tell me why (as per written in LTYG) is the supplement MSM (Methylsulphonylmethane) not good for Crohn's? Does it cause flares? and if so is it safe at a particular dose?

Kind regards
Michael

Hi, Michael.

It very often causes gas and bloating in individuals with IBD or IBS.

If you feel inclined, you could always try it at a very small dose and ramp it up slowly to try it yourself.

All the best,
Nicole
