L-Glutamine

Postby Laure on Mon Oct 01, 2007 2:26 pm

Good Morning,

I've been taking the L-Glutamine for 1 1/2 weeks, with no change in the constant diarrhea. I was wondering if you know approximately how long it should be, in order to see results?

Thank you,

Laure

Hi...I'm just following the directions on the container...1 heaping teaspoon twice daily, on an empty stomach, with water.

Hi, Laure.

The other thing to remember is that if an infection is at the root of your diarrhea (and it's often a contributing factor), your body will continue producing diarrhea or loose stools in an effort to expel pathogens. And although this certainly doesn't feel like a good thing (I've been there!), it really is an effort on your body's part to protect itself.

So if you find that the L-glutamine isn't helping to stem the diarrhea you are experiencing, think about adding a natural antimicrobial, like Wild Oregano Oil, along with probiotics. Full instructions and background info on Jini's Wild Oregano Protocol can be found on pages 140-155 of LTYG.

You can continue to take the L-glutamine at the same time that you are taking Wild Oregano Oil. The Wild Oregano Oil should knock out infection and the L-glutamine is very healing to the gut wall. Adding in high-potency probiotics will also help to heal the gut wall and keep pathogens at bay.

Don't hesitate to write back with any additional questions or concerns that may arise.

All the best,
Nicole

Thank you Nicole. I did see that section in Jini's book, but wasn't exactly sure if everything could be taken together. I will definitely order get the Wild Oregano Oil today. This has been going on way too long now. Appreciate all of your advice.
