Does Absorb Plus expire..?

Postby diesel on Tue Nov 14, 2006 12:42 am

Hi Jini,
I ordered three tubs of Absorb Plus & was eager to try them all & mix them up for a bit of variety however l have just noticed that it has on the tub 'use within 30 days of opening'. It has now been more than 30 days & l was wondering is it no longer beneficial to take ~ curiosity has me asking why it should be disregarded after 30 days of opening as l have it stored out of sunlight in a cool area of the pantry.
I was a bit disappointed as l live in Australia & it cost me a lot of money to have them sent over & now i have to throw them out unfinished...
I do realise l should have read the tubs prior to opening however i was quite ill & eager to get on the road to recovery.

Also do you think that Absorb Plus may be available to purchase in Australia at a more affordable price in the future? It would be fabulous if it were available in pharmacies & hospitals for the many people who suffer from these grulling illnesses. I recommend your fabulous product to many however the price of shipping is nearly more than the cost of the product. Overall it has helped & l am extreamly grateful for having found you & your product; keep up the good work. God Bless ~

P.S If ever you decide to manufacture your product in Australia for retail l would be more than happy to help market it for you... :) as there are a huge amount of people that can benefit from Absorb Plus here. Cheers.[/b]

Expiry Dates

Postby Jini Admin on Wed Nov 15, 2006 6:34 pm

Hi Diesel,

Absorb Plus has to put the 30 day expiry notice on there because they have to cover all eventualities and there are also some legal restrictions regarding expiry dates, that are more political than actual. So, while the company can't officially tell you anything different, I will let you know that I only drink one shake a day right now, so I not only have tubs open for much longer than 30 days, but I'm also using some stock that expired over a year ago. There may be some reduction in vitamin/mineral potency (perhaps the one year expired stock is now at 90% potency), but everything else is fine and certainly nothing goes "off".

I know Imix has been trying for a while to find an Australian distributor, so if you have any ideas or would like to help out, please email Michael Burn directly at: service@imixnaturals.com

take care,
Jini
