question for karen ( or anyone else that could help!)

Hi Karen,
how are you? I had a question, you had said that it took your son almost 3 wks to slow down the diarrhea when he went on the diet. But i was wondering, because in the book jini says that you might experience liquid bowel movements the whole time your on the diet due to the fact that you are not eatting any solids. Now i was wondering if you could differienate with you son... becuase i have continued to have diarrhea and i'm starting my 4wk today.but could it possibly just be the shakes? do you know how i might be able to tell the difference between liquid BM's and diarrhea? Because that is really the only symptom i have right now.
thanks!

The Diet and Diarrhea

Postby Jini Admin on Thu Oct 26, 2006 9:34 pm

Hi Amy,

You're right - and unfortunately there is no way to distinguish between diarrhea and the liquid bowel movements that result from consuming an elemental diet.

You have to think of a baby that's breastfed (breastmilk is an elemental food) - their bowel movements are always liquid (if the baby poops several times a day) until they begin eating normal food.

You'll be able to tell once you start introducing normal foods again - then see how your bowels respond.

But remember to do Jini's Wild Oregano Oil Protocol to eliminate any infection. See the ARTICLES section of this website (www.JiniPatelThompson.com)
